I am planning with some colleagues to do a workbook for families/ partner/ carers of people with OCD or a related disorder (both adults and adolescents with OCD)

I am sure there are hundreds of scenarios that partners/carers/ families would like some guidance on as well learn negotiation skills over
accommodating a ritual/ what to do about giving reassurance or wanting answers to questions like:

What if the doctor/ therapist won't speak to me?
What if my son with OCD refuses to get help?
What if the person with OCD is violent/aggressive?
What can I do if they are constantly in the toilet and getting through so
many soap/ toilet rolls?
What if I can't stop my partner stop hoarding and clutter?
What if my partner threatens to commit suicide if I don't accommodate their
rituals?
What rights do I have to make my son/daughter homeless and what will happen
to him/her?
My wife and I and my daughter all disagree on what best to do for our son
with OCD, what can we do?
My son who has BDD is demanding more money for cosmetic surgery
My son is constantly asking for reassurance that he has not done x and he
emotionally drains me.

So over the next 6 months, please do email me at david@veale.co.uk (or ask others to email me) or reply here on the forum with scenarios that you wish you had had some guidance on in the past, or
examples of what else you think should be included in such a book!
Many thanks
