Hi Rena

Sorry you are having a bad time of it at present. Can you see your doctor to recommend a good CBT pratitioner. When I get relaspses I tend to leave it for months before I admit it as I see it as a failure on my part. If I sought help immediately (which I will in future) I would be able to catch it before it got totally out of hand.

PM me if I can help in any way
best wishes
Anne

Hi Rena,
Sorry you are struggling at the moment. Yes stress does make the OCD worse. Well done for keeping your OCD under control, it is hard tho isn't it?
Keep fighting and hopefully it will settle down again soon.
Try not to worry about it coming back full force, this will only make matters worse. Take things one step at a time and try to be kind to yourself and things will improve.

Bridget

Hi All, I have had just a terrible week, you know those times when one stressful thing after another happens? I am trying to keep my OCD under control, as I have been doing really well with it lately, but being under such stress I am worried it is coming back full force. Anyone else have the problem with stress making their OCD worse?
