So I'm wondering...do you mean try and keep advice and triumphs etc to PM's? Just till the book is written? I'm not sure what info shouldnt be floating around...perhaps I dont understand fully what you want on here and what you dont...perhaps one of you can PM me..? <img src="http://www.ocdaction.org.uk/forums/bb-plugins/bb-smilies/default/icon_smile.gif" title=":)" class="bb_smilies" /> Thanks! Dont want to mess up the project! It sounds fabulous!

Hi folks

I did not mean to come on the forum again so soon, but I have to say that I do agree with what Joyce has said. I have put hundreds of hours and pounds (of my small savings)into this research so far and do not want too much to appear in the public domain. Publishers have told me in the past that to sell a book nowadays you have to be prepared to advertise it in advance. But it would be a shame if all the material was revealed (and perhaps used) beforehand especially in view of the fact that a large percentage of the profts will go to this charity.

I would still love to receive information from those of you who have not yet come forward - especially small personal accounts of your experiences of OCD. Your names will not be revealed in the book.

Thank in advance

Anne

As most of you will be aware Anne is working on an amazing project - a book for OCD sufferers with most of the input by OCD sufferers.
It occurs to me, however, that if we post all our input onto this forum a lot of the information will be in the public domain before the book even gets written. This is wonderful for people using this forum for research or for existing sufferers, therapists, psychiatrists maybe looking for ideas and information but how will it affect Anne's book? - because it's concept is to be unique - and at the end of the day it must be sold and hopefully make some money for charity to help more OCD sufferers.
Any suggestions please?
