We recently let you know about the fundraising exploits of Molly Sandford-Ward, who ran in the Great Edinburgh 5 Mile run on Sunday 23rd April. Molly was taking part in this fabulous event in order to raise awareness about what she believes to be the two major misconceptions about OCD: what the disorder actually is, and how severe it is for those who live with it.
It's our absolute pleasure to announce that Molly's run went absolutely swimmingly: she finished in an impressive 47 minutes 39 seconds. Not only this, but she raised a wonderful £294.25 for OCD Action, in order to help people living with the devastating condition of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.
Here is Molly after finishing the course:
Thank you so much Molly for all you've done, and we hope you've now managed to get some well-earned rest!
Fundraising doesn't stop there, however! This coming weekend, we have the next in the humongous trials of Michael Darvill and Sarah Guy. Michael will be taking on the London West Tough Mudder at the weekend, and Sarah will be embarking on the Sunderland Half Marathon. We wish them both the best of luck as always, and will update you all on their triumphs in due course.
Want to get involved yourself? We'd love to have you join our incredible team of fundraisers! If you'd like to do an event like Molly, Michael or Sarah, just get in touch with our Lead Fundraiser at firstname.lastname@example.org.
