It takes a lot of commitment to run a marathon. Months of grueling training culminating in 26.2 mile behemoth – it’s certainly not for the faint of heart!
But that hasn’t put off the incredible Christian Bower, who on Sunday 9th April (this weekend) will be taking on the Brighton Marathon in order to raise donations for OCD Action in order to help people with OCD all across the country.
Christian has a long history with this charity, and some of you may know him as one of our Helpline Co-ordinators. He’s done fundraising for us before – notably competing in the Hackney Half Marathon in 2015 (pictured) – but this is his first time doing a full-on Marathon. And what better place to do so than the beautiful seaside town of Brighton?
Those of you that have seen me recently will know that I'm running the Marathon for OCD Action, how much this charity means to me and the amazing work they do for people with OCD. So come the big day you'll either be supporting me or supporting the charity to help someone on their road to recovery! Dig deep guys!
So best of luck to Christian – we know he’ll absolutely smash it on Sunday!
