It is with great sadness that we have to report Peter Kinloch, a long standing supporter of OCD Action has died whilst realising his dream of scaling Everest. Peter was undertaking this climb, part of the seven summits challenge in aid of OCD Action and to raise awareness of OCD.
For those of you who attended the OCD Week Manchester Conference this February, I am sure that you will remember the up-lifting talk that Peter gave. I know that his words at that time inspired many people and I am sure that his life and achievements will continue to inspire many others in the future.
Our hearts go out to his family and friends at this time

After reading Peters story in my local paper i was very saddened to hear about his death. I would like to send my sincere sympathy to his family and friends.
I have logged onto this Website because of reading Peters story and was really touched by it because of Peter i am now going to do something positive to help this Charity especially because one of my family members has suffered o.c.d for most of their life .
What an amazing man. As a sufferer of severe OCD i am incredibly touched that Peter gave his time up so generously to get awareness for OCD out there. He truley died a hero.
I would just like to say how sorry I am to hear of Peter Kinloch’s tragic death. I didn’t know Peter personally but I knew his dad when he worked in Liverpool and wanted to pass on my sincere condolences to his dad and all his family at this very sad time.
