OCD Action is a non profit making charity that relies on people and organisations for volunteering their time and support.

This page is a special Thank You to those people and organisations that have contributed time and money to OCD Action.

Support those who support OCD Action:
Wherever possible we urge you all to support these companies who have so kindly supported OCD Action.

We send out an average of 750 information packs a month. If you or your company are able to contribute to our cause, then please, please get in touch. We are constantly on the look out for updated IT equipment and office supplies.

OCD Action Committee:
The member elected OA Committee comprises of 12 people, some are OCD / BDD professionals and some are sufferers. Each person is responsible for a different area of the development of OCD Action, I.e. Fund raising, medical advice, support groups, newsletters, conference, website etc.

Without the unpaid and tireless work of these people then OCD Action would not be where it is now.

Susan Minall:
Susan is the only employee of OCD Action. On a Tuesday to Thursday, along with her army of volunteers, she runs the OCD Action office and reports directly to the OCD Action committee.

The amount of effort and work Sue puts in goes far beyond that expected of any employee. Her efforts, caring approach and excellent organisational skills are greatly appreciated by all at OCD Action.

Sue also initiated a monthly BDD Support group at the Priory Hospital in Southgate, North London.

Gillian Knight:
Gillian has worked tirelessly for OCD Action and for the last few years was the Honorary Secretary. Her work has included the organising of the OCD Conferences, and I am sure you will all agree that the last Conference was superb and all her hard work and efforts along with other members of the Conference team was well worth it.

Gillian has now stepped down from the committee after several years but she has not escaped from helping OCD Action completely. Gillian now helps and supports in the running of this website, proof reading, advising on content, contributions etc.

Ani Zavody:
A recent recruit to OCD Action, Ani has already donated many, many hours of her valuable time, as a result she has now taken over from Gillian has Honorary Secretary.

Ani is also the editor of the superb OCD Action Newsletter. Please take a glimpse at our last Newsletter.

David Buckley:
David along with Sue Minall helps keep the OCD Action office ticking over. He has helped OCD Action in a number of ways doing media shows on behalf of OCD Action, collating all the support group information on this website, and proof reading the entire website.

Office Volunteers:
The OCD action office is open Tuesday to Thursdays and managed by Sue. Sue is superbly supported by her army of Office Volunteers. All sufferers or supporters of OCD Action they give up their time to spend several hours helping Sue with tasks such as answering calls, routine clerical work, and mailing out our informative booklets.

These tasks are often taken for granted and go unnoticed, but without the efforts of our volunteers they wouldn't get done.

Both Sue and the rest of the OCD Action committee are extremely grateful for their efforts.

So to David, Jennifer, Jean, Margot, Ilksev and Janette and to all those others who have donated time in 2003 a huge Thank You.

If you live in the London area or are willing to travel to London any day between Tuesdays and Thursdays and would like to volunteer a few hours to help, then please contact Sue on the office number above or via the contact email form.

Penny Foster:
Sufferer Penny has over the last few month's donated much of her time to helping and assisting webmaster Ashley in the building of a small community of sufferers on the OCD Action Bulletin Board.

Every single day she is offering valuable and superb advice to fellow sufferers and her contribution is very much appreciated.

Easy Net Design:
Although the website was solely created by Ashley, Ashley runs a web design company, Easy Net Design. Easy Net Design specialise in web solutions at affordable prices, from personal web pages to websites like this for charity organisations to e-commerce shop websites.
