Dr David Veale
MRCPsych, MPhil, BSc, Dip CACP.

Dr David Veale is the Consultant Psychiatrist at the The Priory Hospital North London, in Southgate, which provides treatment programmes for Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD).

Dr Veale is also a Honorary Senior Lecturer in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioural Sciences at the Royal Free Hospital and University College Medical School, where he teaches and conducts research primarily in Body Dysmorphic Disorder and OCD.

 

 

He is also a past Chairman of Obsessive Action and continues as a professional adviser and an active member of todays OCD Action Committee.

Dr Veale has published original research into OCD and BDD and regularly speaks at National and International Conferences. He is also an accredited cognitive behaviour therapist and past treasurer for the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapy (BABCP).
